Helen L. (Hollingsworth) Land - Helen Land passed away peacefully in Petaluma on October 8, 2008. Devoted wife of the late Earl Land. Loving mother of Jan Rodd of Petaluma, Samuel Land of Sacramento, Robert Land of Klamath Falls, OR and the late William Land. Dear grandmother of Patty Rodd of Petaluma, Mike Adcock of Oklahoma City, and, Larry and Kathe Rodd of Petaluma. Dedicated great-grandmother of Justin and Casey Rodd of Petaluma and Michael Adcock of Oklahoma City. Dear sister of Richard Hollingsworth and his wife Orlean of Cedar Ridge, CA, Robert Hollingsworth of Bellingham, WA, and Ruth Waltrip of Ventura, CA. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Helen was very creative and enjoyed many crafts and arts. She created beauty wherever she went, and that touch â?? along with so much else â?? will be sorely missed. At Helenâ??s request, no services will be held. She will be inurned with her husband at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery. Helen was born in Petaluma on October 13, 1921 to the late Pearl and Harry Hollingsworth. She was also the granddaughter of the late pioneer ranchers, Martha and John Alexander of Tomales.
