Helen Louise Schwaderer Acorne - Passed away on June, 7, 2012 in Carroll, Iowa. Wife of the late Jack Acorne.She is survived by her son Michael and his wife Harriette of Petaluma. Sister of the late Harold Schwaderer and Nadine Gregg. Sister-in-law of Doris Acorne and the late Bob Acorne. Aunt of Kitty Hammen, Mary Acorne, Gary Acorne, David Acorne, and the late Ronald Acorne. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Petaluma. Private Inurnment: Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Petaluma. Helen was born on August 26, 1919, in Carroll, and grew up in Rockwell City, Iowa. She served as a nurse in the United States Navy during World War II, Lieutenant Jg. She spent many years working for the United States Army and United States Coast Guard at Two Rock Ranch Station, California.
