Adored grandmother of four; Jaime, Noel, Casey and Adrian and cherished great grandmother of two; Michael and Annabelle. Also survived by one niece; Joanna and one nephew; Richard. A native of Duluth, MN, aged 90 years. Helene is preceded in death by one granddaughter; Erika Ahrens and one nephew; Chuck Schroeder. Helene was a member of the Peninsula Symphony Guild and the Lighthouse for the Blind. She was a volunteer swimming instructor for the disabled and enjoyed hiking and flowers, as much as Mother Nature. She had a passion for world travel and dance. She will be remembered most for her love and devotion to her family.
