Henry "Hank" Bahnsen

October 13, 1932 — February 5, 2016

HENRY "HANK" BAHNSEN passed away on February 5, 2016 in Penngrove at the age of 83. Devoted husband of 49 years to Twyla Bahnsen of Penngrove. Cherished father of Denise Bahnsen-Brown, Duwayne Bahnsen (Kerry), and Cheri Massey all of Petaluma. Beloved grandfather of Greta and Gemma Bahnsen; Candice and Julianna Massey; and Ray McGee (Megan). Adored great-grandfather of Harley and Hayden McGee; Bella Massey; Taylor Kohubun; and Shyanne Nowlin. Loving brother of the late Edna Mae Burbank. Hank was born, reared and educated in Petaluma, graduating from Petaluma High School in 1951. He started his career at Harmony Music Store, until 1971 when he opened Hank’s TV Repair in Rohnert Park, which he operated until his retirement in 1999. For more than 20 years, he was a member of the Bay Area Camping Group and enjoyed playing golf. On Wednesdays Hank could always be found at McDonald’s with his coffee clutch. Above all, Hank loved his family; he will be greatly missed. The family wishes to thank Hospice of Petaluma for its wonderful care of Hank. At his request, private family services will be held. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Penngrove Clubhouse, 385 Woodward Ave., Penngrove. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Petaluma or the Penngrove Social Firemen. Celebration of Life
