Henry Perucchi passed away peacefully at home on his ranch in Bodega, California with his immediate family and dog Sadie by his side. He was 93. Beloved husband of Clara Perucchi for over 73 years. Loving father to Mike (Laura) Perucchi and Steve (Nancy) Perucchi. Proud grandfather of Ashley (Dan) O’Callaghan, Josh (Kelsey) Perucchi, Mandy (Brian) Kelly and 5 great-grandsons.
Preceded in death by his parents Michele and Estelle Perucchi, and his sisters Junrose (Roy) Wright, Betty (Harry) Maisetti, Claire Mattos. Survived by his loving sister Alyce (Joe) Jansen. Henry was born in Petaluma, California.
A lifelong dairyman, he began working on his father’s dairy farm at a very early age. His family moved to Tomales, California when he was 12 years old, where he met Clara at school. By the time he was 16 years old, he proudly had his own dairy herd. Henry and Clara married in 1949, then move to Bodega in 1952 to start their own family and dairy farm, where he never missed a milking for 27 years. Later in life, Henry enjoyed traveling with his close friends but was at most happy at home on the ranch. He was in partnership with the dairy with son Steve until the end.
Visitation will be on Monday, December 19, 2022, from 4PM to 7PM at Parent-Sorensen in Petaluma, California with a private burial at Tomales Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Henry’s memory may be made to Bodega Volunteer Fire Department, Hospice of Santa Rosa or an organization of your choice.
