Henry N. Rankin

Reverend Henry N. Rankin - Passed away in Citrus Heights, CA, March 28, 2007, beloved husband for 63 years of Dorothea Rankin. Adored father of Jonathan Rankin and his wife, Marjorie, Linda Hansen and her husband Dennis, Wesley Rankin and his wife, Tish. Loving grandfather of Katherine and Joshua Higgins, Rev. Henry and Dr. Jenna Hansen, John and Heather Hansen, David and DaNielle Rankin , Megan Rankin and Gwendolyn Rankin. Cherished great grandfather of Levi and Lilah Rankin. Brother of Betty Hedgpeth. Also survived by his nieces, Carol Trew and Anna Benham and cousins, Robert and Jane Rankin. A native of Pasadena, CA. Age 87 years. Rev. Rankin ministry spanned over sixty years, serving as a missionary in Indonesia for ten years and later as minister for 22 years with the Two Rock and the Tomales Presbyterian Churches. Rev. Rankin was active in the Petaluma community, working with Petaluma Ecumenical Properties and as a member of the Petaluma Rotary Club. After his retirement, he continued as a Minister of Visitation with the First Presbyterian Church of Santa Rosa for 12 years. He is survived by many beloved parishioners that he ministered to while serving the Lord. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, March 31, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the First Presbyterian Church of Santa Rosa., 1550 Pacific Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA. Private interment, Two Rock Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family prefers memorials be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Santa Rosa or to the Two Rock and Tomales Presbyterian Churches.
