Herbert Leo Morris

Herbert Leo Morris, age 85, a 45 year resident of Petaluma, died of cancer at home on October 30, 2014. Herbert is survived by his wife of 52 years Dorothy; his son, Samuel Morris (Rashida), and his daughters, Karen Morris-Cole and Brenda Penney (Charlie). Seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. He was an Air Force Master Sergeant who served in both the Korean and Vietnam wars, and was dedicated to his family, church and community. Family and friends are invited to attend the vigil at Parent-Sorensen's Mortuary, at 850 Keokuk Street, Petaluma, CA 94952, on Friday, November 7, 2014, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Celebration of life will be held at The Petaluma Church of Christ, 370 Sonoma Mountain Pkwy, Petaluma, CA 94954, Saturday, November 8, 2014, at 11:00 a.m., with a reception to follow. Memorial contributions can be made to St. John's Anglican Church, Hospice of Petaluma or Meals on Wheels.
