Herschel Thomas Adkins

Herschel Thomas "Hersch" Adkins - Born in Peoria,Illinois, September 1, 1928 and passed away in Petaluma, CA on Sunday, April 22, 2012. He has been a Petaluma resident for the past 64 years. Herschel served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He retired as a butcher after 42 years, last working for Luckyâ??s. Herschel was an active member of Petaluma Golf & Country Club, Petaluma Lodge #901 BPOE and VFW Post 1929. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Eleanor "Peanuts""" Adkins and is survived by several nieces and nephews.""
