A resident of Clearlake Oaks, CA Passed away on April 1, 2016 at the age of 76. Preceded in death by his wife Ellen Diane Nolan, father Hugh Francis Nolan, mother Virginia Robino, son James J. Nolan, and grandson Jonathan Nolan. Cherished father of Danielle Nolan, Elisa Snow (Daniel), Leanne Nolan, Shannon Nolan, adored grandfather of Joshua Nolan and Jordan Snow; older brother to Ginger D'Onofrio (Richard) and James Nolan (Maureen). Survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and other relatives. Champ was born in San Francisco, attended Balboa High School, a veteran of the U.S. Army, and worked in Sheet Metal, employed at Valley Sheet Metal, and a member of Local Union 104 for many years within the greater Bay Area until his retirement. Over the years he enjoyed coaching his kids in sports, waterskiing, camping, flea markets, 49er Games, and Nascar.
A brief inurnment service will be held on May 4, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Calvary Catholic Cemetery (2930 Bennett Valley Road, Santa Rosa, CA, 95404). A "Celebration of Champ's Life" will be announced and held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, the family prefers memorial contributions to be made to the Lake County Animal Care & Control (4949 Helbush, Lakeport, CA, 95453). Inurnment
