Ian Paul Roth - Passed peacefully into light and joy on May 7, 2008 in his home in Santa Rosa, CA. A native of Northern California, Ian was first born to his loving parents, Tim and Lynn Roth on May 28, 1975 in Petaluma, growing up in Windsor and in his pre-teen years, moved to Santa Rosa. As an adult, Ian shared a small house on Santa Rosa Creek with his sweet dog, C.C. Ian grew up loving anything with wheels, which later translated into his passion for motorcycles. One of his greatest joys was the freedom of riding in the mountains where he felt at last free of pain and the distractions of the world. Ian had been a student of Piner High School and attended Santa Rosa Junior College where he had been working towards his Contractor"s License. He had, also, volunteered at pacific Coast Air Museum working to restore a Vietnam era helicopter. Ian honed his skills as a talented cook, watching all the cooking shows and sharing his amazing concoctions with family and friends. He could often be found in the kitchen, creating something surprising and delicious. Despite his physical pain from his accident, Ian always kept a cheerful, hopeful attitude, loved life, his family and his friends. He found happiness in so many things like rescuing orphan birds, terracing and landscaping his backyard with California wild flowers and discovering and sharing books with his Mom, the most recent being, "Mi Moto Fidel"
