Isaac B. Velasquez - Isaac B. Velasquez passed away peacefully at his Petaluma home at the age of 81 surrounded by his family on November 10, 2010. Devoted husband to Sylvia Velazquez of Petaluma and dear brother to Adele Polaco. His parents Delfinia and Enetro Velasquez, sister Francis Trujillo, Sister Sorida Cordova and brother Joe Velasquez preceded him in death. Loving father to Elaine Elliott of Santa Rosa, Ellen Webster (Russell) of Petaluma, Barbra Long (Bo) of Rohnert Park, Theresa Miranda (Tom) of Redding, John Velasquez (Molly) of Rohnert Park, Mike Velasquez (Debbie) of Rohnert Park and Reena Brouse (Mike) of Petaluma, beloved grandfather of 18, great-grandfather of 24, and Great-great grandfather of 1. He was a resident of Petaluma since 1969. He enjoyed music, fishing and painting, but his passion was giving Bible Studies and was a member of his church for the past 30 years. He served his country during the Korean War as a bugler with the 32nd Infantry, 7th Division. He was self-employed for many years as a Barber and eventually a Cement Mason.
