Isabel P. Horn

Santa Rosa, California - Isabel Horn passed away peacefully on March 9, 2016, just 12 days short of her 99th birthday. Isabel was born on the Paradise Farm in Fort Dick, CA on March 9, 1917, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Paradise. She and her husband of 52 years, Milton, owned and ran a dairy ranch in Glenn County before moving to Sebastopol in 1957. In Sebastopol she worked in the cafeteria at Analy High School until her retirement. Isabel was predeceased by Milton in 1988. She is survived by three daughters, Carol Pitter of Sebastopol, Judy Small (Dave) of Ukiah, and Millicent Jackson (Jack) of Cobb. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She loved working in her garden, especially on her roses, which she shared with her friends. The family wishes to formally thank the staff of Platinum Residential Care Home in Santa Rosa for their professional and compassionate care of Isabel. Contributions can be made to Memorial Hospice. Family and friends are invited to attend a Rosary on Thursday, March 17 at 10:30 am at St. Sebastian's Church in Sebastopol. A Funeral Mass will follow. Interment at Sebastopol Memorial Lawn.
