MAXSON, ISABEL ANNE - Entered into rest peacefully with her family by her side, October 13, 2013, in Santa Rosa, CA. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, John S. Maxson. Isabel was the beloved mother of Sharon Romero of Poway, CA, Denise (Steve) Castellucci of Novato, CA and Lisa (Dan) Strand of Vancouver, WA. Loving grandmother to Erika (Tim) Phipps, Tyler (Kira) Romero, Beau Romero, Janie Castellucci, Peter Castellucci, Jennifer (Bill) Welch, Zachary Phillips, Ashley Phillips and Ben Phillips. Cherished great grandmother of Jade, Eleanor, Wyatt, Maxson, Madison and Gavin. She is survived by her sister; Rita Biss of San Marcos, CA and many nieces and nephews. Isabel was born in Camden, ME and raised in Lake Placid, NY, along with eight siblings. An accomplished Ice Skater from an early age, she was in the cast of Shipstads & Johnson Ice Follies. Married in San Francisco, she proudly raised a fun loving family. She loved to swim, enjoyed music and theater, and was actively engaged in her church. Isabel always enjoyed the zest of living her life. She will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends, and will be remembered by her legacy of teaching her family to "Just Enjoy". Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Star of the Valley Catholic Church (545 White Oak Drive, Santa Rosa, CA, 95409). Private inurnment. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions in Isabel's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (P.O. Box 2151, Memphis, TN, 38101).
