Jack E. Ecton

JACK E. ECTON: born October 29, 1929; passed away in early morning hours on January 2, 2015 at home in Petaluma of Parkinson's Disease. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Gloria; sons Mike and Alan; and daughters Marie Tekeli and Jacqueline Pantazes (Christos). He is also survived by his three grandsons, of which he was proud: George and Phillip Pantazes and Nicholas Tekeli. Jack was born and raised in San Diego and graduated from Balboa High in San Diego. He was drafted into the Korean War and served for two years. He and Gloria met in Yosemite while on vacation and were married on April 19, 1953. Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Liturgy, Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 10:00 am at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm at the Mortuary. Interment: Calvary Cemetery, Petaluma.
