JACQUELENE PHILLIPS passed away on April 25, 2015 in Petaluma. Devoted companion of Jimmy of Petaluma. Cherished mother of Teresa Manning (Scott) of Healdsburg and Shawn Phillips of Rohnert Park. Beloved grandmother of Whitney Manning Herbert (Gavin), Blake Manning, and Jacob Manning. Loving sister of Jack May and the late Ted May.
Age: 79 years.
Jacquelene was born June 23, 1935 during the Great Depression. She was a coal miner's daughter who grew up on a rural farm in Novinger, Missouri. She later moved to California to start a new life and raise her two children. Jackie, as she was known to most, was a nurse for over 35 years who cared for the sick and the elderly. She loved playing bingo with her friends and spending time with her family and her little dog Angel. Everyone she met loved her and was considered a friend. We will miss her funny sense of humor and contagious laugh. She taught us all to live, love and laugh. Her life will live on through her children and grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Service, Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 11:00 am at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. Interment to follow at Olive Hill Cemetery, 849 Canyon Road, Geyserville.
