James Lytle Calvert

James Lytle Calvert - James Calvert passed away Sept. 27, 2007 at his home in Petaluma. He was born Nov 12, 1923 in Richwoods, Mo. to George and Aglia Calvert. He was married for 56 years to the late Lucille Calvert and resided in Humboldt County for most of that time. He is survived by daughters Janice Calvert Tucker and her husband Scott of Penngrove and Lynne Calvert and her partner Trina Lacey of Santa Rosa. In addition to Granddaughters Debie Mitchell of FL, Michelle Ross and her husband Andy of Rohnert Park and Sheryl Vicharelli and her husband John of N C; Jim leaves behind his 8 great Grandchildren, Sierra, Marty, Cavin, Lucy, Danny, Danteâ??, Dominic and Andreâ??. Brother of Avelle Calvert of Orick, Alfred Calvert of Woodland and the late Alex, Ben, William, Paul Calvert and the late Marie Anderson, Thelma Zunino, Edith Hall and Gladys Krey. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Jim operated his own logging truck company in Orick for over 40 years and then retired in Eureka for 14 years. When Lucille passed away in 2003 he moved to Petaluma to be closer to his daughters.
