James B. "Jim" Clahan

Passed away on August 10, 2016. Jim was born on January 9,1935 in Edgewater, New Jersey. He was the son of John S. Clahan III and Kathleen Moran. Jim moved to Marin County in 1944. He graduated from Marin Catholic High School and San Francisco State University. He was a coach and teacher at Tomales High School for 40 wonderful years! He was predeceased by his two sons, Chris and Matt and his brother Jack Clahan. He is survived by his wife Stephanie, daughter Maureen Clahan, step-daughter Bridget Pedersen, step-son Chris Huntley, his grandchildren Connor and Talia Pedersen, brothers Oney Clahan (Kathie), Ed Clahan (Mardi), brother-in-law Bruce Howard (Vivian), and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He will be missed by everyone that knew him! Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Petaluma on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Contributions can be made to Tomales or Petaluma High School Athletics.
