James Monroe Valentine

James Monroe Valentine - Passed away on September 3, 2012 in Santa Rosa at age 79. Cherished father of Carol Valentine of Rohnert Park and Kathy Petersen (Phillip) of Santa Rosa. Survived by and loving brother to Etoil All Day of AL. Loving uncle to several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Golden Living of Santa Rosa for their loving care of James. Friends and family are invited to attend the Memorial Service, Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. Private Inurnment. James was born, reared and educated in Mississippi. He enlisted in the US Navy in the 1950s and was stationed in HI. He was transferred to Treasure Island where he was honorably discharged. James remained in San Francisco and began working as an auto mechanic for SF Lincoln-Mercury.
