Our beloved Jamie passed away unexpectedly earlier this week at the age of 62. She began her life as a native of San Francisco. Her love of travel led her to an honored 40-year career as a flight attendant. She was proud to say that she had logged enough air miles to travel to the sun and back! She truly loved her work, especially taking care of the young children on her flights. While flying, she made many friends throughout the world and her warm, loving heart touched many people.
As a resident of Petaluma, Jamie and her husband, George Livingston, vacationed to places such as Bali, Thailand, and Nicaragua. While vacationing in Nicaragua, she enjoyed sharing her history as a descendant of Former President Jose Vicente Cuadra and the famed explorer, Francisco de Bodega Quadra. She loved planning an annual Caribbean vacation with their large group of friends.
Jaime was a nature lover and health enthusiast. She enjoyed the outdoors and taking hikes with George around the Lake Tahoe area. She was also very passionate about animals and volunteered her spare time at the Petaluma Animal Shelter.
A truly special and loving relationship was shared between Jamie and her mother, Sonia Cuadra. They not only enjoyed a very close Mother/Daughter relationship, but also were undoubtedly each other's Best Friend. They spent a great deal of time together sharing the daily tasks of life to numerous travels around the world.
Jaime loved her entire family and is survived by her Husband-George, Mother-Sonia, Sister-Lourdes, Brother-Robert, Niece-Elena, Nephews-Adrian, Justin, Bobby, and Julian and her Step-Children - Katie and Grant. No formal memorial service is planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Petaluma Animal Services Foundation.
