Jean Bell

JEAN BELL passed away on September 24, 2015 at the age of 77 in Rohnert Park. Devoted mother of Tracy Fontana and her fiancé Chuck Blaylock and son Shane Bell. Beloved grandmother of Tabitha, Nikki, Stephanie, and Danielle. Adored great-grandmother of Jude. Loving sister of Mary, Patrick, Margaret, James, Susan, Theresa, Isabelle, and Gilbert. Dear aunt of Melody, Jinny, Edward, and Danny. Jean was born, reared and educated in Greenock, Scotland. In 1969, she and her family moved to the US, settling in Petaluma where she worked as a caregiver. Her kindhearted nature and willingness to give of herself enabled her to care for the sick for over 40 years. And because of this, Jean was loved by many. She found strength through her faith and spent many hours at her parish, St. Vincent de Paul Church, in diligent prayer. In her spare time, Jean enjoyed going to the beach. Above all, she loved her family. She was a wonderful woman; she will be greatly missed. Friends and family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 2:00 pm at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 35 Liberty St., Petaluma.
