Jean M. Vail

Passed away in Yuba City surrounded by her loving family on July 13, 2013 at the age of 74 years. Devoted mother of Teresa (Gary) Oefinger of Petaluma, Tom (Patty) Curtis of Yuba City, and Mary Kelly of Petaluma. Doting grandmother of Brian Kelly, Jeffrey Kelly, Haley Oefinger, Alyssa Offenger, Mike Curtis, John Van Tassell, Tony Van Tassell, Andy Van Tassell, Roy Van Tassell, Christie Van Tassell. Dear sister of Nancy Miiller and Pat Bruner. Jeanie has lived in Petaluma since 1969 and was a real estate agent for CENTURY 21 Bundesen. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a caregiver for Hospice of Petaluma and a volunteer with Loving Hearts and Hands Committee at St. James Catholic Church. In 2011 she moved to Yuba City to be close to her son and his family. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, July 22, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 125 Sonoma Mountain Parkway, Petaluma.
