Jennie Marie Arent

March 20, 1957 — March 26, 2022

Jennie Marie Arent was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She loved spending time with her family more than anything. She will be forever missed. Jennie passed away on March 26 th , 2022 at the age of 65.

Jennie was born to Bill and Carolyn on March 21 st , 1957, in Omaha, Nebraska. Jennie grew up with a loving and large extended family. She was a competitive high school swimmer who spent countless hours at her favorite place, the Oak Heights public swimming pool. She met her devoted husband John Arent in Omaha and together they moved to Texas to be closer to John’s family. Eventually they settled in Northern California where they raised their 4 children: Kelly (Steve), Erica, Chris and Nick (Bailey). Jennie loved being a mom, and her children loved her greatly.

Jennie and John were married for 44 years and both enjoyed spending time with their 3 grandchildren: Elijah, Max and Heidi. Her grandkids will always know that Grandma is watching over them. She is also survived by her father Bill, mother Carolyn, sister Janie (Jerry), brother Patrick who will always miss Jennie’s presence in their daily lives. And of course, we cannot forget Napa, Jennie’s beloved cat. All of us will be missing her more than words can say. Jennie spent countless hours with her family and friends at school events, on soccer fields, and in family celebrations. Her many years as a dental assistant with Doc and Diane led to countless happy memories and finding a forever best friend in Diane.

Jennie loved unconditionally. She always put everyone else first before herself. She was the kindest, funniest (even without trying) and loving wife, mom, daughter, sister and friend who could possibly be. She has left a tremendous void in our hearts which will never be filled.

Until we meet again, all of us wish her peace and comfort with Joanie, Glen, and Morgan (as well as many others). John will write a poem in Jennie’s honor to share with her family and friends which will lead to many heartfelt memories and tears of missing her.

In remembrance of Jennie, please call a loved one or friend and tell them about your day. Jennie always loved hearing from everyone.
