Jerry Floyd Nichols - Went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 9, 2008 in Sebastopol after a short illness surrounded by his family. Loving husband of the late Barbara Nichols. Loving father of Tammy Demler and Sean Nichols. Adored son of Vera Nichols and the late Floyd Nichols. Cherished brother of June Thompson (Harry), Janelle "Bev""" Forget (Duane), and Bill Nichols (Patricia). Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. "" Age: 68 years. Born in Alva, OK, Jerry and his family moved to Sonoma County from Kansas in 1946; he graduated from Analy High School in 1957. As well as being a very active member of Hessel Union Church, Jerry enjoyed being a caretaker of the church. He was kind and giving, very much having a heart of gold. Even through all of his trials and tribulations, Jerry maintained his thoughtfulness of others and generous spirit, sharing all he had with others. A music lover, he enjoyed the sounds of Gene Autry. Above all else, however, he loved his family. Jerry's family wishes to thank Fircrest Convalescent for their great care.
