Jerry Wilburn "Shipley" Farmer

SHIPLEY-FARMER, JERRY – Entered into rest in Petaluma, CA on April 20, 2014. Dearly beloved son of the late Eceneith “Skip” Shipley and Wilburn Farmer. Loving father of Julia Marie (Blake) Ryman-Bell of Colorado. Grandfather of Harper Juke Bell. Also survived by his brother’s and sister’s; Doug (Brian) Shipley of Kelseyville, CA, Connie (Mac) McBride of Klammath Falls, OR, Peggy (Gale) Lang of Dannebrog, NE and Jim (Brenda) Lang of Grand Island, NE, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A native of Concord, CA, age 57 years. “Shipley” was raised in Forestville, where he lived nearly his entire life as an avid Outdoorsman. He was known as a “Jack-Of-All-Trades”, specializing in Pool and Tile Contracting. He often served as a Fishing Guide of the Russian River and its waterways.

Family and friends are invited to a “Celebration of Shipley’s Life” on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at the Forestville Youth Park, where a Memorial Bar-B-Que will be held from 12 Noon to 3:00 P.M. (Food and monetary contributions welcome-Please bring your own beverage’s). As an expression of sympathy, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Jerry Shipley-Farmer Trust Fund (established for his daughter) be sent to Doug Shipley, in care of: 9417 Yaquima Drive, Kelseyville, CA, 95451. Private inurnment.
