Jesse Shennan passed away suddenly on July 26, 2021. He was born at home in Warren Oregon on 4/17/1977 and moved to Petaluma when he was 2. He attended Cherry Valley Elementary School, Petaluma Junior High, and Petaluma High School. He is survived by his lifelong partner and mother of his children Stephanie Thatcher, daughter Sophia Shennan, son Charles Jesse Shennan (CJ), sister Heather Shennan, nephew Rowan Harlan, Father Charles Shennan, stepfather Joe Seelig, mother Patricia Seelig, and a large extended family on both sides. Everyone loved Jesse and thought he was the sweetest person with a big heart. He worked at many different jobs, but mostly loved to work on cars. He was the father of two amazing kids. He would help anyone in a pinch. He loved his family so much, and even though there were hard times, the love was always there.

People always said Jesse was very smart. He was a deep thinker and wanted to know how things worked, so he would inevitably tear everything into pieces and then rebuild it, including his first computer. Jesse was a jack of all trades and could take apart and rebuild almost anything. Growing up he had many friends and a large extended family that were always around. When someone wanted to spend the night, the answer was 99% of the time YES. Jesse was a very good baseball player and played on teams throughout his school years. He had a very smooth swing. Going to his games was great fun for the whole family. He loved his life growing up and told me he had a very happy childhood. That always brought me comfort during difficult years when we were estranged from each other.

Jesse will be deeply missed, and we all mourn for the loss of a life which ended far before we were ready to say goodbye.

All My Love, Mom
