Joel J. Alejos

Joel J. "Joe" Alejos - Passed away on October 3, 2009 in Petaluma. Devoted husband of Laura Alejos of Petaluma. Cherished father of Amanda, Spencer, and Hailee Alejos all of Petaluma. Beloved son of Dora and Juan Alejos of Petaluma. Loving brother of John (Megan) Alejos of Santa Rosa, Mike (Laurie) Alejos of Petaluma, Pam (Fred) Dutton of ID, Jaime (Patti) Alejos of Petaluma and Martin (Abby) Alejos of San Diego. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass, Friday, October 9, 2009 at 11:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 35 Liberty St., Petaluma. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2009 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. Memorial contributions may be made to Amanda, Spencer and Hailee Alejos, #5968833201, C/O Wells Fargo Bank. Joe was born in Marin County, but reared and educated in Petaluma, attending Grant Elementary School and graduating from Petaluma High School. At PHS, he excelled as an athlete in football and baseball. To this day, he had a passion for sports, avidly playing softball and pool. Joe worked for the Local #38 as a plumber, just like his father. Being the handyman that he was, he could fix or build anything. Above all else, Joe loved his family and was never afraid of telling them he loved them. The family extends a special thank you to the Grant School Community for their much appreciated support and dinners.
