John George Affonso

John George Affonso passed away on October 25, 2014 at his home in Petaluma, with family and friends by his side. George as he is known by friends, is survived by his wife of 46 years Patsy Affonso, his sister Mary O'Gormon, of Novato, his 6 Children, 12 Grand Children, 17 Great Grand Children, and 2 Great Great Grand Children. Born on February 22, 1925 in Petaluma Ca., George grew up in Marin County and graduated from San Rafael High School. He served with the Army in Korea, was a master carpenter, an avid Outdoor Sportsman, a member of the N.S.G.W. and the I.D.E.S.S.I. No services will be held at George's request.
