John W. Azevedo

JOHN W. AZEVEDO passed away on February 12, 2014 in Petaluma. Devoted husband of 47 years to Glenda Azevedo. Cherished father of Matthew Azevedo (Jo Beth), Dina Azevedo (Tony), and Victoria Azevedo (Lawrence). Beloved grandfather of Matthew Jr., Amber, Blake, Wesley, Tiffany, Kyle, Kelli, and Kami. Adored great-grandfather of six. Loving brother of Anthony Azevedo and Francis Azevedo. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Age: 79 years. John was born in Two Rock, but moved to Petaluma at the age of six. He was drafted in US Army and stationed in Germany. From early on, John worked side by side with his father, Manuel, as a hay farmer. He was known as a hard worker and great lover of John Deere tractors. Above all, John loved his family; he will be greatly missed. Friends and family are invited to attend the Memorial Service, Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma.
