Devoted grandfather of Dara, David, Jason and Michael Billing. Dear brother of Alfred Billing of Petaluma. Survived by several nieces and nephews. John was born and reared in Petaluma and was a World War II Navy veteran serving in the Pacific Theatre. He worked at various lumberyards in Petaluma.
