John P. Bordessa - Passed away at home in Petaluma, Sunday, July 25, 2010, beloved husband for 59 years of Margaret C. Bordessa. Loving father of Michael J. (Cindy) Bordessa of Cotati, Marilyn G. Bordessa of Catalina, Elizabeth A. (David Johnson) Bordessa of Long Beach, Elaine (Kim) Newbrough of Palm Springs. Adored grandfather of Brittany and Christina Johnson, Angelina, Michael, Anthony and Marissa Bordessa. Brother of the late Minnie Albini and the late Mary Roberts. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 29, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. Family and friends are also invited to attend the Funeral Mass, Friday, July 30, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Assumption of Mary, Tomales, CA. Entombment will follow at Tomales Catholic Cemetery. The family prefer memorials be made to Lakeville Volunteer Fire Dept. or Hospice of Petaluma. John was born in Bodega Bay, CA and has been a resident of the Lakeville area of Petaluma the past 85 years. Age 90 years.
