John Edwards - John A. Edwards, Jr. passed away in Petaluma on September 22, 2008. Devoted husband of Frances Edwards. Loving father of Deborah Edwards and her husband Marty, John E. Edwards and his wife Jean, Grace Fiandaca and her husband Chuck and Charles Edwards. Cherished grandfather of Ashley and Aaron Harriss, Jason, Jennifer and Julie Edwards. Mr. Edwards was a proud veteran of World War II, serving in the China, Burma, India Theater. A longtime parishioner of St. James Catholic Church. Mr. Edwards was 83 years of age. Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 9:00 A.M. at St. James Catholic Church, 125 Sonoma Mountain Parkway, Petaluma, CA. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2008 from 11:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. with a Vigil Service at 6:00 P.M. at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk Street, Petaluma, CA. Entombment at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Petaluma, CA The family prefers memorial contributions be made to the Petaluma Valley Hospital, 400 North McDowell Blvd., Petaluma, CA.
