John E. Frates

John E. Frates - Petaluma native John E. Frates passed away at his home on August 12, 2010. Loving husband of Linda Frates of Petaluma. He was the son of Joseph and Hilda (Sodergren) Frates. Brother of the late Vincent J. Frates and Mary Josephine Paulucci. Devoted uncle of Joyce Paulucci of Petaluma, Leroy Paulucci and his wife Willie of Woodland, Rick Cook of Louisiana, and Ronnie Cook of Crossville, TN. Survived by several great-nieces and nephews. Mr. Frates was born on March 17, 1923 and raised in Petaluma. He farmed hay along with his brother Vincent all his adult life on the family farm on Lakeville Highway until his retirement in 1993.
