John Patrick Hart, Jr. LCDR (Retired) - John Hart left us on September 12, 2007. Devoted husband, for 61 years, to Lois Hart of Petaluma. Dedicated father of John C. (Gayle), Terrance (Barbara), Greg (Kris), Jim (Renee), Kevin (Rosemary), and Carole Sanders (Bill). Loving grandfather of 9 and great grandfather of 7. Dear brother of Louise Gaydos and the late Edward Hart. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 21, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, 455 Mc Near Ave., Petaluma, CA. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the St. John Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or Lutheran Care for the Aging, 1031 Franklin St., San Francisco, CA 94109. He was born on April 27, 1927 in Cleveland, Ohio. John was a career Coast Guardsman, serving almost 31 years at seven different stations. John became a private investigator for 11 years after retiring in 1977.
