John B. MacLean -
Passed away to be with the Lord after a sudden heart attack on October 2, 2012 at the age of 82. He was born in Tonasket, WA on November 16, 1929 and attended high school in Coulee Dam, WA. He graduated from Washington State University with a degree in electrical engineering followed by two years of service in the army. He began his working career with Westinghouse Electric Corporation in San Francisco where he met and married, Marilyn, his wife of 50 years. He was with Westinghouse Electric for thirty years and his work took him around the world to Europe, Asia and South America. After leaving Westinghouse, he was employed by Electric Power Research Institute in Palo Alto with Alaska and Hawaii as his primary sales territories.
Jack was devoted to and cherished his family. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn, and daughters Heather and Lisa both of Santa Rosa, his brother Bert MacLean (Bernadine) of Spokane, WA, sisters Cora Picken (John deceased) of Lake Chelan, WA, and Betty Koontz (Robert deceased) of Orange Park, FL. He was predeceased by his sister, Agnes Grimes of Omak, WA and his brother, William MacLean of Pateros, WA. He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
