John D. "Denny" Murray - Passed away on February 3, 2012 in Petaluma with his loving family by his side. Devoted husband of Susan Murray of Petaluma. Cherished father of Margaret E. Murray (Bart Reese) of N. Beach, MD; Claire D. Murray of Chesapeake Beach, MD; and John D. Murray, Jr. (Julia) of Severna Park, MD. Loving step-father of William F. Tomrose of Petaluma. Adored grandfather of Daniel O. Murray of Chesapeake Beach, MD and Harper Reese of N. Beach, MD. Dear brother of Terrence C. Murray of Severna Park, MD and Timothy J. Murray of Beltsville, MD. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Denny was a native of Greenbelt, MD. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. He founded Bay Mills Development Co in 1973. He was on the Board of Directors of Petaluma Community Foundation, VP of RAM Lending, and Director of North Bay Cancer Alliance. Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass, Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 35 Liberty St., Petaluma.
