John Raymond Peck

August 16, 1930 — March 3, 2016

Born in Sioux City, IA, John was the son of Lloyd and Estella Peck. John is survived by seven children in the Wisconsin area; Heather (Tom) Hickling, Sallie (Gerhard) Schulz, Steve (Ellen) Peck, Sandee Hoffman, Kathy Borski, Chris Peck and Monica Feiler. Also survived by twenty-one grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. He and his wife, Marlene married in Broomfield, CO thirty-six years ago. John also leaves behind six step-children; Charlie (Kathleen) Emerson and Mary Kent, both of CO, Jim Emerson of Santa Rosa, Pati Bush of Clearlake Oaks, John (Corinne) Thornborrow of SC and Betty Jo (Phil) Shreves also of Santa Rosa, sixteen additional step grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. John started in the Seventh Grade doing Linotype, followed by entry into the U.S. Navy as a Printer-Lithographer. He was in the printing business his whole working career and worked all across the United States. He eventually ended up owning his own business, John Peck Graphic Services. He sold his business in 2000 and then worked at Goode Printing until late 2015. Printing was his passion. He was active in the Craftmen's Printing Organization for many years. He will be remembered for his loving nature, gentle kindness and his sweet smile. Family and friends are invited to attend a "Celebration of his Life" on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Church Of The Oaks (160 West Sierra Avenue, Cotati, CA, 94931).
