John Gregory Pilgrim

John Gregory (Greg) Pilgrim died suddenly Tuesday, September 13, 2016 in a home accident. Greg was born September 25, 1946 to John Raymond Pilgrim of Sebastopol and Zelda Lee (nee Winston) Pilgrim. Raised in Sebastopol, California, Greg leaves behind loving wife, Maria Pilgrim, sister, Marcene (Jim) and brother Randy (Joyce), as well as children, Barry Pilgrim, Tony Bertolini (Vickie), Nick Stephenson, (Sarah) Anthony Stephenson, 6 grandsons, and one great granddaughter. Greg was a dedicated Park Supervisor and landscape specialist for the City of Rohnert Park for thirty-two years, as well as a reserve/volunteer firefighter. An avid pilot, motorcycle and classic car enthusiast, Greg was loved by all who knew him and touched more people than he knew. His quiet generosity and passion for life will be sorely missed by all who knew him. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Sebastopol Community center, Sunday Oct 16th, 2016, at 3pm. Donations to the American Cancer Society or VNA Hospice of Petaluma are requested in lieu of flowers.
