John Jerome Rapoza, Jr.

JOHN JEROME RAPOZA, JR., passed away peacefully at his home in Petaluma on Friday, April 3, 2015 at the age of 89. John is preceded in death by his parents John and Marie Rapoza and his sister Marie Montelatici. John is survived by his loving wife Christine of 64 years. John is lovingly remembered by his wife, Chris; sister Margaret Canady of Sparks, Nevada; son Jerry (Susie) Rapoza; daughter Tina (Rod) Souza; grandchildren Jenae` (Tony) Ball of Spokane, WA; Jeanette Rapoza of San Diego; John Souza of Rohnert Park; Donna (Joe) Duldulao of Meadow Vista, CA and Ben Souza of Petaluma. Greatgrandchildren Anson and Landon Ball of Spokane, WA. John was born on March 14, 1926 in Yerington, Nevada. He served honorably in the United States Navy from 1944-1946 aboard the USS West Virginia. John was a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters UA Local 467 for over 60 years. A memorial mass in celebration of John's life will be held on April 20, 2015 at 10:30 am at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 35 Liberty Street, Petaluma, CA. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Parent-Sorensen Mortuary & Crematory, Petaluma.
