John Aguiar, Sr.

Passed away at home in Petaluma, CA, July 20, 2015 at the age of 88 years. Husband of the late Josephine E. Aguiar. Father of Jackie Smith (Jim) of Bodega Bay, John Aguiar Jr., (Carolyn) of Petaluma and Joie Aguiar of Petaluma. Grandfather of Nizza Sequeira (Jason) of Petaluma and the late Brendan James Smith. Great grandfather of Elicia, Aesa and Jack Sequeira. Brother of Anthony "Tony" Aguiar of San Jose and the late Caroline Bailey and Clementine Ramsey. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. John was a well known and talented bulldozer operator in the area since 1952 until his retirement in 2005. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service, Saturday, July 25,2015 at 11:00 A.M. at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. Visitation will be held at the mortuary on Friday from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Entombment, Cypress Hill Memorial Park. Donations may be made to Hospice By The Bay.
