Joseph A. Corda - Died suddenly, Saturday, March 31, 2007, beloved husband of the late Eleanor May Corda. Adored father of Gary J. Corda of Novato, Freddy E. Corda of Novato, Jolene Rossotti of Petaluma and Mary Ann Cooley of Cheney, WA. Beloved father-in-law of Nettie Corda, Mike Rossotti and the late John Cooley. Loving grandfather of Janeen (Kevin), Joey, Jeff, Tony and Andy. Loving brother of Marjorie Rosselli of Penngrove, Dorothy Nadale of Petaluma and the late Lester Corda.Companion of Juanita Van Meter of Petaluma. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A native of Petaluma, CA. Age 82 years. Joe was a member of the pioneer Corda and Sartori families of Marin and Sonoma Counties. He was a dairyman all of his life, operating his ranch in Novato. He was a member of Corda Brothers Gun Club, Petaluma Council #9 Y.M.I., Petaluma Golf & Country Club, SIRS and a Fifty Year member of Petaluma Lodge #901 B.P.O.E., Nicasio Parlor #183 N.S.G.W. and the Novato Druids. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 3, 2007 from 11:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, Magnolia Ave. and Keokuk St., Petaluma. The Vigil Service will be at 5:00 P.M. Tuesday at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 35 Liberty St., Petaluma, CA. Family and friends are also invited to attend the Funeral Mass, Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Vincent de Paul Church. Entombment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
