SEWELL, JOSEPH "Joe" DUNCAN - It is with immense sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Joe Duncan Sewell, with his family by his side, on May 25, 2015, in Santa Rosa, CA. Dearly beloved husband of fifty-nine years of Linda Lee (Logsdon) Sewell of Santa Rosa (Oakmont), CA. Loving father of Steven J. (Janice) Sewell of Rohnert Park, CA and Tim A. (Cathy) Sewell of Windsor, CA and father-in-law of Teresa Sewell of Salinas, CA. Adored grandfather of Scott Sewell and Sara Sewell of Windsor, CA and Michaela Sewell and Alexander Sewell of Salinas, CA. Caring brother of William (Lynette) Sewell of Atlanta, GA and Margaret (Ron) Conradi of Cincinnati, Ohio. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A native of Junction City, KY, age 77 years. Joe is preceded in death by his son, Michael Sewell and three sisters; Ann Mesrop, Beverly Tournade and Bonnie Miller. Joe has been an upstanding member of our community for forty-three years and worked as a highly respected Teacher and Administrator until retiring in 1995. He was always well known for his unwavering patience and an overflowing of wisdom that he shared with family, friends and colleagues. Joe was a special man who was taken from us unexpectedly, but whose memory will always be cherished by family and his many friends. Smile…Because He Lived!
