Judith Ann Marty

Judi Marty passed away after a short battle with cancer on February 27, 2018 aged 66.  Judi was born on June 14, 1951 in Lewiston, ME.  Judi was a housewife, mother, grandmother, aunt and dear sister who will be sorely missed.  Judi moved to Petaluma with her family in 1963.  She attended Kenilworth Jr High and Petaluma High School (Class of 1970).  Judi married Kenneth Marty Sr, her high school sweetheart and they had one child, Kenneth Marty Jr.  Judi was a homemaker who loved playing  Yahtzee, bingo and a good game of poker.  Judi especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was an avid sports fan, the Boston Celtics and Patriots were her favorites.  She is survived by her son Kenneth Marty and daughter-in-law Kate, grandchildren Patty and Tyler,  parents Richard Holt and the late Barbara Holt, brother James Holt and wife Katherine, sisters Pat Compton and husband Bob, Pam DeMarco and husband Gary, and numerous nieces, nephews, grand niece and grand nephew.  A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary at 2 pm.  In lieu of flowers it is requested that contributions in Judi’s memory be made to the SPCA or St Judes Children Fund.  Refreshments will be served following  the memorial service at 908 Pecan Way, Petaluma.
