JUDITH "JUDY" SHENNAN, born on August 30, 1942 in Petaluma to Christine and Henry Mannwieler; passed away on May 1, 2014 in Petaluma at the age of 71 years. She grew up on a chicken ranch in Penngrove. When Judy was 10, she and her family moved to Petaluma where she graduated from Petaluma High School. After graduation, she worked at Lund’s Drive-In where she met the love of her life, Jack. They married in 1963 and raised two children in Petaluma. Over the next 50 years, she and Jack provided a wonderful home for their family. During this time, she took pride in her role as a Valley Vista PTA member and Secretary of the Women’s Bowling League. In retirement, she and Jack enjoyed sailing the seas on cruise ships and traveling through the Western United States in their motor home, all with their dear friends and family.
Judy is survived by her husband Jack, her son Rick, daughter-in-law Candi, their two daughters Ader and Ella. She is survived by her daughter Laurie Lavilla, son-in-law, Darrel, and their two children Napua and Kekoa. She is also survived by her sister Lillian Pierson and her brother Hank Mannwieler.
At her request, no services will be held. The family requests any memorial donations to go to Hospice of Petaluma, 416 Payran St., Petaluma, CA 94952. Family assisted by PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, Petaluma.
