Julianne Renee Pickett

Julianne Renee Pickett, beloved mother of Phallon Davis and future son in law Robert Hogan passed peacefully in her sleep and is now in God's Kingdom. Julianne was the daughter of Julia Pollack and the late Russell Pickett. She was born on February 23, 1962 and passed on her loving father's birthday August 6, 2014. Julianne is survived by two sisters Salee Pickett (Tony) and Linda Davis (Bill). She was the aunt of Jacob Sikes, Jade Stanich (Todd), Gina Davis (Ricky), Jahsun Clayton (Gail), Sentome Clayton-Nichol (Nev) and 3 great nephews. Extended family members are the late Ray Pollack, his daughter Penny, her 2 children, Chris and Kyle and their father, Benny; David Devoto; her uncles, Bob Ratto (Julie), Mel McKean (Patty) and Louie McKean; stepmother Judy Pickett, her children Sherry, Gail, Dennis and Richie; the late Vincenzo Zito and her Aunt Lina, in Italy; and her late aunt, Marguerite Fountain. She also leaves behind, her boyfriend, Mike Chirelli. Julianne was schooled in Santa Rosa and for a brief time in Genova, Italy. Her early life was filled with her pony "Blue Eyes" and her horses Sheba and Bobbi Jo. She enjoyed life and was gifted with a free spirit. She had a joyful character and had the ability to make everyone laugh. Her genuine enjoyment was spending time with her daughter Phallon, sisters, mother, nieces and nephews. Julianne gathered a multitude of friends during her lifetime. In the past 15 years Julianne's occupation was dedicated to the sea. Living in Bodega Bay taught her the dynamics of becoming a sea faring woman. She donated time to the marine lab. She ventured to Alaska where she worked on fishing boats for 4 years, until she suffered a knee injury. Julianne was proud to say she worked on board the boats shown on the TV show "The Deadliest Catch". She was daring and adventuresome. Rest in peace beautiful lady. We love you and will miss you. Julianne's service will be held at 11:30 am on Fri. Sept. 5, 2014 at Lafferty and Smith Colonial Chapel, located at 4321 Sonoma Hwy, Santa Rosa CA.
