Julius F. Faoro

Julius F. Faoro - Passed away on May 3, 2010 in Santa Rosa. Jules Faoro was born in Pittsburg, KS on July 29, 1913. At the age of 11, he moved with his family to Santa Rosa, CA in the year of 1924. He went to Todd Grammar School until 1926 and then his family moved to Windsor, CA. He attended Windsor School and later he went to Healdsburg High School. His family moved to Santa Rosa in Rincon Valley in 1930 and he worked for the Rincon Valley Store where he met Irene Baldi. Jules and Irene were married at St. Rose Church on Nov. 18, 1939 and then lived in San Francisco. When Irene became pregnant in 1940, they both desired to return back to Santa Rosa to be closer to their families. Jules and Irene raised 3 daughters and 1 son: Laurette Tognetti (Rodney), Jeanne Behler (Sid), James Faoro (Lynne), and Elizabeth Finn (John). He was blessed with 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Oscar Faoro, sister-in-law, Mary Baldi, and numerous nieces and nephews.
