Julius John Macche

Julius John Macche passed away at home in Bodega Bay, November 9, 2022 at the age of 94. Julius was born in Petaluma, and lived his entire life on the family ranch where he worked with family operating the dairy, beef, and sheep ranch. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Julius also enjoyed working with his brother, Richard, at the Bodega VFD stew and polenta dinners for over 30 years. He is survived by his siblings, Rosalie McAlister (Scott), Richard Macche (Cheryl) and was preceded in death by his sister, Jean Moody (late Charles). Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm with a Vigil Service at 6:00 pm at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary-Sebastopol. The funeral service will be Friday, November 18, 2022 at 11:00 am also at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary-Sebastopol, 301 So. Main Street, Sebastopol. Interment, Sebastopol Memorial Lawn. The family prefers memorials be made to the Bodega Volunteer Fire Department.
