Julius S. Zunino

Julius S. Zunino - Passed away on June 8, 2012 in Novato. Devoted husband of 70 years to the late Anita Zunino. Beloved brother of the late Gino, Pete, Suzanne, Leo and Anna. Cherished uncle to numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Julius was born, reared and educated in Novato, graduating from Novato High School. During WWII, he enlisted in the US Army and proudly served his country. He worked as a manager for Henris Roofing in Petaluma for many years. In his spare time, Julius enjoyed hunting and fishing. Most of all, he enjoyed dancing with his wife, Anita. Now, they are dancing together in heaven. Julius was a wonderful man; he will be missed. Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Liturgy, Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. A Visitation will be held on Monday, June 18, 2012 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice by the Bay, 17 E Sir Francis Drake Blvd. Ste. 100, Larkspur, CA 94939. Entombment: Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Petaluma. Age: 91 years.
