June Lorraine Silva - June Silva passed away on February 11, 2010 in Petaluma. Loving daughter of the late Antone and Juanita (Sullivan) Silva. Cherished sister of the late Carmelita Hernke, Barney Silva, Donald Silva and Stan Silva. Beloved aunt of Don (Marti) Silva, Sherry Couch, the late Diane O'Donnell and Nolan Stice. Devoted friend of Jean and Art Burnett. Survived by numerous great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. The family would like to thank all the wonderful people who assisted June with kindness and understanding at Springfield Place, Hospice of Petaluma, and Petaluma Care and Rehab. A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary & Crematory, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Petaluma, 416 Payran St., Petaluma, CA 94952 or Lucile Pachard Foundation for Children's Health, 400 Hamilton Ave., Suite 340, Palo Alto, CA 94301. Entombment: Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Petaluma. June lived all of her life in Petaluma, graduating from Petaluma High School in 1942. After graduation June went to work for the Government at Mare Island and Hamilton Air Force Base in Novato for over 30 years.
