Kay Delberta Russo

Born Kay Delberta Williams, on April 27, 1942 in Massachusetts, Kay’s family worked their way west to Pacifica where she met the love of her life, Tony.  Married on April 29, 1957, they began their 60-year journey as husband and wife.  In 1971, they moved with their 4 children: Marti, John, Tony Jr, and Ted to Petaluma - the town she considered her home town for the rest of her life.  She worked 27 years as a nurse at Petaluma Valley Hospital and was active in the community.  She spent her final 13 years of retirement with Tony in Rio Vista, CA.  She passed away on September 6, 2017 surrounded by her family.  In addition to her husband and 4 children, she is survived by Marti’s husband Fred Meyer; Tony Jr.’s wife Cindy Russo, Ted’s wife Cathy Russo, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by John’s wife Jennifer Russo. She will be missed by all.

The Funeral Mass will be on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. James Catholic Church, Petaluma.  A Viewing will be on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, Petaluma.  Entombment: Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Petaluma.
