Keith Edward Chapman

July 1, 1942 — January 19, 2022

Keith was born, July 1, 1942 in San Francisco, to Ed and Martha Chapman and passed away at home in Petaluma on January 19, 2022 from lung cancer. He grew up in San Anselmo with his brother Stan and sister, Corliss (Corky). He served in the US Navy from 1960 to 1962 and was honorably discharged. Keith was married to his first wife, Carole (Kelly) Weinhold with whom he had 2 sons, Kyle and Bryan. He married his second wife, Debra A. Frazer in 1984 and helped raise her daughter, Jaime. Besides his wife Debbie, children, Kyle, Bryan and Jaime, he is survived by 6 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

Keith had a 30 year career with the California Highway Patrol prior to his retirement. He then went on to a career as a Major League baseball scout, with the Cincinnati Reds, Atlanta Braves and the New York Mets, from which he received a World Series ring.

At his request there will be no services.
